:) Chuck got me the iPhone 4s for my Christmas gift... I am so excited!!! And now comes the hard part for me.... Syncing it... :( maybe I have too many apps... But Chuck is tapping each ONE to upload it onto my phone! He loves me :). And I just LOVE him... He cares and wants it working for me!!

Part one...

I am not a writer... but write from my heart using my pix.

This day...

I was so EXCITED to be heading to Nazareth... seeing sites along the way. AND having Comedian Nazareth with us... well... WE LAUGHED all the way thru Israel!!

We started our trip with what Sharon said is their equivalent to our donuts =) I was so excited!! She pulls it out of the bag and says... here is the "ka-ka" - yes... that is what she said!! - OH MY GOODNESS! We started laughing so HARD! AND there it began - we had "ka-ka" EVERYDAY! To me it tasted more like a soft pretzel - but it was round like a donut =)

We were on our way...

First stop - Tel Megiddo (Valley of Jezreel) My FIRST historic place to visit!

I walked up the path and was in AWE of all I was seeing... I wanted to just stop and take pix of EVERYTHING! The ancient ruins... and knowing that people lived and worked there... layer upon layer... WOW! Here are a few pix up on the top... and then of the Valley where the Battle of Armageddon will happen...

Where they stored the food... they went down one side and up the other!

Nazareth went over to the trees to get pix of the dates! They were so BEAUTIFUL!! I just LOVE the colors all around IN the desert!

Next we were off to Caesarea Maritime...

AND on the way... we recognized McDonald's! HAHA!

It was here... at this moment that my camera BROKE! It quit focusing and I did NOT know if any pix were being recorded... the LCD screen and menu buttons QUIT working =(

I was so HEART SICK... I had planned to get GREAT pix with all the memories to have with me forever... but, that was NOT going to happen... at least that was my attitude at THAT moment! I prayed so hard... and held back my tears... and STOPPED... for a moment...

I realized in that moment... that I was still alive... NO one was hurt...

and that it was my camera that DIED!

I did mourn for a moment... KNOWING God knew my heart.

I changed my attitude very QUICKLY because if I didn't I would MISS out on ISRAEL!

I wanted to SEE where Jesus walked... and lived... and not miss a moment!

so... I changed my heart and chose JOY in my crisis!

I am so GLAD I DID!

In writing this I thought I only had 3 real HEART moments with GOD... but I now realize there were more... because THIS one I did not count... but now I see...

It was the FIRST!

I got to put this verse INTO ACTION!

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds...

WOW! I don't know when I have ever had such a difficult time posting pix on here! I have done many weddings and NEVER had an issue... Weddings had 4000 pix! This Israel trip had maybe 3000 in different cameras!! It should have been way faster... HAHA!!

NOW that they are all online... at Pamee's Place - I am PRAYING that the next few blogs of my days will go easy!!

I am heading to start right now on DAY 3 - it was a VERY GOD moment day for me!! =)

A few things today...

FIRST... the Identity Conference today at our church - Crossroads - was so INSPIRING! Next year YOU MUST GO! It will challenge YOU to be the man or woman GOD created YOU to be and to do SOMETHING about it! =) I was inspired last year... and this year was even BETTER! Next year... will be WOW! I just KNOW it!!

I LOVED listening to Dale Partridge talk on KNOWING the WHY we work =) AND I loved David Jay... =) He is a photographer too... and I have LOVED and PRAYED for him for many years... he has a special place in my heart... like a son I never knew =) BECAUSE he loves Jesus! =) THEN... listening to Tim Sanders - I think I cried all the way thru his talk!! His STORIES touched my heart to want to do MORE! The words are still resounding... "the way you overcome adversity is by generosity" and the way to spell love is GIVE =) WOW! and WOW again!

Rick Warren came and really challenged ALL of us to KNOW what God has given us "what is in my hand" ... and DO something! I am ready to go change the WORLD!! =) I HOPE they taped it! AND Chuck and I got our photo with HIM!! HE really is WONDERFUL!!

[side note here - I have been trying for 15 minutes to upload the pic of US with Rick Warren - HAHA! It will NOT load... and the link won't work... =( - but... I STILL NEED to be thankful! Right???!!]

Natalya and the Generate band lead us in worship... it was AWESOME! AND another young man - Propaganda - made me STOP and listen to what he was saying... WOW!

I was a bit STAR struck all day... and in AWE that I got to hear ALL of them in ONE day! =)

THEN... I am still working on my BLOG of my trip to Israel... I just needed PIX from Lisa's camera - since my camera BROKE on the 3rd day! So I worked on them and finished... and thought they were uploading today while I was at the conference - but only 7 uploaded ALL DAY! HAHA! I still NEED to be thankful that I can BLOG my trip!! I HOPE that I can upload 1600 pix by tomorrow... but it isn't looking like that will happen =( I still NEED to be THANKFUL!!! Right???!!

DAY 3 of the trip is coming soon... it was the first of the tears flowing for me! GOD is so AMAZING!!

I am posting this with NO pix... SORRY! I cannot get ANY of them to post!! HAHA!! I am THANKFUL still!! =)

Part 2 of DAY 2...

Once a month the home for the boys throws a BIRTHDAY BASH for all of the birthdays that month... we were so LUCKY to get to be there for the BIG BIRTHDAY BASH!! All the boys PLUS the kids that are sponsored all come to the party =) I LOVED getting to watch the excitement of the kids when opening their presents and getting cake!! EVEN blowing out the candles was sooooo FUN!!! Here are a few pix of the party!

It was GREAT to sleep... but I was so EXCITED to get up and START my day =)

My reading for this trip was the book of John and then the book of Luke... which was really FUN to follow the path that Jesus took!

Day 2 - In Ramallah all day...

We walked outside to hear honking and shouting and cheering... and seeing cars with flags parading by! It was the day of the prisoner exchange! That was quite fun to experience! They were THRILLED!! =)

Then... we had Turkish Coffee at the Church...

I think I got addicted to this too... I HAD to have it EVERYDAY!! =)

Our first thing to do this day was to visit a family from their Church - needing prayer... It was a BEAUTIFUL drive there...

Here is Dr. Munir Kakish and his lovely wife Sharon... we were all included in their visit with this family from the church.

THEN... it was time for lunch =) HAHA! They do make YUMMY lemonade! With mint...

Struggling...

I am so STRUGGLING with posting the next blog of my trip... it is done... I did have internet issues and photo issues... BUT it is finished... well day 2 is... =) BUT it won't POST! HAHA!! I have tried MANY times this morning... This is a kind of test to see it it will post =) If it does... I am trashing the Day 2 post and starting it over!!

Day 1 of my trip...

I am attempting to journal... and blog my WHOLE trip =)

Day 1...
We left Crossroads on Sunday and headed to LAX. I LOVED traveling on a Sunday... NO TRAFFIC!! =)

We arrived in Tel Aviv on Monday afternoon =) It was a fascinating drive from the airport to Ramallah... I was in AWE that we were actually IN Israel!! We checked in to our hotel - the Royal in Ramallah - then... headed to the Home of New Life.

We got to meet the boys that live there... AND a few of the men that used to be IN the home and now work to HELP the young boys there! THAT was a BLESSING to get to hear... here are a few pix of the kids... =)

We got there at HOMEWORK time...

The boys were really excited to show us where they lived...

THEY LOVED playing ball - that was really a blessing to watch too!!

We were able to eat with them... family style! Our FIRST of many meals with hummus =)

THEN more playing after dinner... even Nazareth took time out to PLAY =)

We headed back to the hotel... for some MUCH needed SLEEP! AND so very THANKFUL for what we saw GOD doing in Ramallah!

Woohoo! I am loving this new challenge we have at Crossroads! I have always loved God's Word... But I haven't always been journaling it... Now I am motivated to want to journal everyday! Although... Last week I read my Bible and made an art piece... And thought I journaled... I did NOT! So... I'm going to have to keep up on that!! Haha!!

I'm sharing this with you... so YOU can know you can do this!! The church has journals available for us to use... With reading plans ready to go!

This is what I am doing...

I stared with reading Psalm 119 in sections... And choosing a verse from each section... Here are a few...

It has been so fun to get back to it! I go thru phases when I decide I NEED to journal... Usually when my heart hurts is when I write the most. It helps my healing process...

Now tho... I'm inspired by Chuck and his journaling all these years! I don't want to just write tho... Because I know I would lose interest... So I am incorporating some kinds of art in my process! And it has been so AMAZING! I find myself creating way more now... And my words flow... God is working in my heart :) and my prayer has been to crave my time with HIM! And I DO! I read so many verses that I want to make art pieces of... I need more time :) haha!!

I am making LOTS of pieces... The hardest part... is KNOWING when they are finished! :)

Yay!! I've been a little afraid to post while ON them... I was a bit loopy! I'm doing way better... I can finally smile! My mouth does feel a bit weird with NO tooth in the back... And chewing on one side is not easy!! I forget... Haha!!

Now I gotta figure out when to get the tooth implant :)

I was hoping for a new car- actually a minivan! YES a minivan! (I love the Toyota Sienna) It's for ALL the grandkids to be able to ride in one car!! All of them will be here soon... And living here!!! But, I have to payoff all my dental work first :( haha!!

I have to say it's nice being able to think clearly again :)

And I have NO pumpkin candles!!! I've always had a bunch... But since we moved I got rid of a lot of "stuff" - and some of it was candles! I knew I could just get more... But today... I was ready to light one - and searched all over for one... Just ONE! Haha! I have none!! So I lit my non scented candles and put on pumpkin scented lotion... (Thanks to Heidi Celaya!!!) It smells yummy!!! And comforting... :)

I read my bible with the candle lit... And fell in LOVE with this verse today! I really LOVE Psalm 119 too!!

I LOVE pain meds!!!

Ok... It is over! Thank YOU for praying!! My dental surgery went well... But not as expected! The Dr. Was so great! He talked me thru it all and realized that one of the teeth had to come out... Which made it take longer ;) and he had lots of numbing stuff ready for me thru out!!

I think the grafting of my gum hurts the worst now!!! I have stitches in the front of my mouth AND the back where there is no tooth!!

I was in pain on our way home... I was holding in the tears - we picked up the pain meds - vicodin (sp??) and ibuprofen :) yay!!! It took an hour... But now I don't want to cry!!

I'm hoping I can read... I got "The Help" to make the day go by fast tomorrow!!

I did NOT take any pix... Haha! Although - now I wish I had one of me with the Dr. :)

I hope this makes sense... I'm heavily medicated :) and wanted to THANK you all for praying and let you know I survived!!

Fear...

This seems to be my word for today...

I do know the verse 1John 4:18 - there is no fear in LOVE; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.

I am having dental surgery today... And I am EXTREMELY fearful of the dentist! I usually cry every time I am in his office!! I do not have a perfect love for him... And I do BELIEVE it does involve punishment! :)

I am not usually a fearful person... I do KNOW GOD is always there!! And HE will take care of me!! I really do KNOW this... But, when it comes to the dentist... My heart just doesn't quite grasp this... Maybe because of the pain!!!

So I am clinging to this Psalm today... Because I FEEL like it IS the shadow of DEATH today!!

Plus this... I KNOW I still have a future... Haha!!

We bought a lot of plants and trees from 7 Oaks Nursery last Memorial Day... Half OFF everything! And today... Labor Day we have lots of blooms!!!

2 blooms on the plumeria tree!! This is how tall the tree is!! And below are the flowers!! Yesterday there was only ONE bloom!!

I sure LOVE that God made things so full of color and fragrance!!!

I know it's been a while since I've written... But really my heart is just overwhelmed!

Rich, our oldest son, and Mel and the twins are MOVING to California!! And we are praying it will be Corona!! That's where they want to be!!

Rich gets here today!!!! And He'll be looking for work... Then the rest will be here by Christmas! (I'm actually hoping for sooner!)

Woohoo!!! I just am so excited I can't think of anything else these days... Our life is going to change! :)

At least for a while...
Haha!! I think we "bit off more than than we could chew" in our attempt to get physically fit =] Chuck hurt his knee and I couldn't move... Then I got a shot for tetanus that knocked me out for a week!!! So... We MUST start over! Haha!! So I will be SORE again!! But... I will be taking it easy and going SLOW in building up!

And... While I am confessing to my weakness today... These were calling out my name... And I ATE them!!

So for today... I'm just sayin' - I'm gonna cheat on my diet! I think it's considered comfort food... Rich was here all week and he went home last night =( I'm just a little sad today!

Haha! Yep we started the Insanity workout today... Oh wow! I was a sweaty MESS!! And now I am so sore!!!

And I had Chuck take a few pix... :) not pretty... But it will be a memory and show my progress!! It will help me stay with it!!

Some things just don't matter...

Like... We are on vacation in Chicago and this morning I realized I forgot my makeup bag!! Haha!!! I remember way back when I turned 40... Chuck surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas... We drove there... and the boys flew in and arrived as we drove into town! It was a GREAT surprise! And they each had a task... Rich packed my clothes and Tim was supposed to pack my makeup... He had NO clue what he was doing and just grabbed a bag that he saw me use a lot!! It was ALL my nail polish!!! Haha!! So I got to go get ALL new makeup!! I LOVED it!!

Well... I don't really care today that I went to visit a Pastor and his BEAUTIFUL wife at their church... With NO makeup! I don't see me... :) I felt bad that they had to see me... HAHA!! But it is OK!! I know I could have gone to get new make up... And tomorrow I just may get some... AND I did NOT get any pix of me! =] I did go to an art store and get fun things... =] I think I would rather spend $ there!

It has been a BLESSED week too!!

I turned 53 =] and had a very BLESSED birthday! So I've celebrated ALL week... Or maybe ALL month! Haha!!

I got to see Mary Poppins and LOVED it!!

Then I fed an addiction.... :) Michael Nadler... From Canon... Came to Crossroads with all their "stuff" for us to play!! I loved... And COVETED a few lenses!!

Then the Photography Ministry got to shoot at Dos Lagos - I love that we are getting out into the Corona community! I shot my shadow here:)

Then today... We went to Sandals - on Sunday morning for church... And we went to Moment on Sunday night =] I was filled all day long!!

Moment.... Loved the Worship! And hearing Tony AND Breanne!!

My favorite part of the week tho... I got to spend every day with Chuck!! All day!!! Woohoo!!

We get to go to Chicago this week... I'm so excited! I love Chicago! We will be visiting a few Churches... And Chuck gets to speak in Rockford....

So now... We get to GO on a vacation =]

so that I will held accountable! I have been doing really GREAT at my workouts AND diet... and I am feeling WONDERFUL! BUT I am not finished! I really want to lose about 30 more lbs... OR 20... I will see when I get there =) ANYWAY... I started at a size 20... and I am now a 14! BUT... Jill got me a size 12 pair of shorts and I tried them on and I COULD actually zip them up! They are a bit tight... but I did ZIP them up!! I am just so EXCITED!!! I can't remember when I was a size 12!! HAHA!!

SO.... I am on track!! THANKS for the encouragement!! I am still doing the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred 4-5 days a week PLUS I am trying to walk at least 30 minutes EVERYDAY! Vacation makes that a bit more difficult tho =)

:) WOW! I am still recovering from the BEST birthday I have ever had!! It was one of the MOST emotional days I've ever experienced too...

It started with waking up to my phone beeping and beeping with notices on Facebook... :) it was FUN!

Then we headed out to the memorial service for John Sawaya... I really wanted to be there to love on Carol and the girls... I MUST say to have a birthday where I can stand and worship the Lord... Hear the Word preached... AND see people come to KNOW Jesus IS the best! I cried and cried at the stories... What an AMAZING man he was! I was so caught up in the moment I never even took a pic!! Haha!!

Then.... Chuck spoiled me the rest of the day! We went to the Brighton store... I've been eyeing this purse for a while ;) - [ I have NEVER spent a lot of money on a purse because I LOVE to change it!! Haha... But this one was different... I think it will hold everything in it... ] and he bought it for me!! This is it!!

Then we headed to dinner at Old Vine down in Costa Mesa...

I had not checked my FB or emails all day... And on the way home I looked at my phone... WOW this is what I saw... I was OVERWHELMED!

I don't know why FB said only 20 tho... Haha! Most of the emailed were FB posts!!! It took me all afternoon to read thru the emails... AND I am thanking GOD for AMAZING people in my life! Thank YOU for making this the BEST birthday EVER!!

I love going for a walk.... Today tho may have changed that :) we saw this little guy... And it didn't bug me at first... But as I was walking... I got creeped out the further we went... So I cut the walk SHORT!! Haha!! I don't see that great in the dark.... And I did NOT want to step on one!!!

This week is my birthday... And my week started out so BLESSED! Brian Cass - went to ALL the services today looking for me - with a gift! We are on vacation so we just went to the 5:30 service... He came back tonight just for me! That made me feel really special... Then he gave me a gift!! He has had it all planned out... Just for me!

Here's what he got me... An angel music box =]

I just LOVE Brian's heart! He takes photos with all of the friends he has at Crossroads and then gets them all printed in doubles and he signs one for the friend... And he has his friend sign his book! He shows me his book weekly... Of all his new friends!!

I want to make people feel as special as he makes me feel!!

I'm beginning to LOVE my Bible ON my iPad!

I have struggled getting used to reading on my iPad... My Bible included! I LOVE the pages... Taking notes... Underlining... KNOWING where I can find the verse on the page... I'm OLD that way! Haha! Chuck is ALL tech... I'm getting there...

It isn't easy carrying a BIG study Bible with me where ever I go... :)

My goal for this summer has been to meditate and journal and it is easier to take my iPad with me where ever I go... And read... So I decided to LEARN my Bible apps! Finally! Haha!! I only have 4... And the ONLY one that works without the Internet is Mantis! I use that one the MOST! And I love it! I just found it has a daily reading program too!!

In YouVersion... The brown one it has choices of daily reading programs!!

I chose to do the memorize the top 100 verses... I thought that would be GREAT for my meditation too... this was one of the verses...

It sure is a great time killer too!!! We are on vacation and Chuck is taking me to an art store in Pasadena... Well we thought we'd beat the traffic... NOPE! We should have checked before we left! Oh well... We are on vacation and not on a time schedule!!!

Emotional week...

Whew...

It started with our son, Tim getting to speak at a camp... We are so proud! We went up to Thousand Pines to hear him speak. He did AMAZING! I wanted to hear MORE! Liam sat with Jill and watched his Daddy speak... That melted my heart!

Then I got to watch Liam and Ella on Friday and BOTH of them had milestones in their lives... On the same day!! Ella walked a LOT without being prompted! Liam got out of his crib- very easily too :) he was trying to sneak... He still has to learn that! Haha! He always closed the door LOUD!! They are growing up!!

Then one of our dear friends... John Sawaya was put on hospice and we went to visit him...and Carol and Leslie and Brooke!! WOW... What a GODLY man! I cried for a while when we left them... I learned so much from all of them! He went home to be with Jesus yesterday!

Then we had a reunion with our youth group from Knott Avenue Christian Church- from the early 1980's! Wow! It was so fun to hear how GOD is working in all of their lives!!! We laughed a lot!! It really made me LOVE ministry!! I was so thankful to just remember back!

And today... Oh my!! The worship was so emotional all day long!! With our Special DisAbilities ministry leading us...

Chuck's sermon was on spiritual warfare... WOW!!

And I loved getting to be with the Celaya's when baby Owen was dedicated to the Lord.... What a wonderful family!!

OH!! Tonight... I almost burned the house down! Haha!! I got a heat gun and it set off all the fire alarms IN the house!! It's nice to know it shouts out "Fire.... Fire... Fire" hahaha!!! NOTHING was on fire tho... I didn't know it created smoke tho! I couldn't see it!!

I have to say... I am so TIRED! It has been a great week... But now I can't even think straight!!

I watched the movie "Temple Grandin" last night.... I did not know what it was about before I watched it! WOW! I want to watch it again... It was in my head ALL day today!

The movie is about a young woman that is autistic... And has earned a PhD!!! It was so interesting!!! And inspiring!!!

I've taken a break from Words with Friends... I do feel bad that the notices keep coming up that I NEED to play or I forfeit!!! I don't like to forfeit!! Haha!! And no Hanging With Friends... Even tho the RED circles NEVER go away ;)

I've had more time to meditate... And Read! Plus I am getting ready to art journal every day. I do my regular journal... But I am needing to do more! So I'm learning how to paint IN a book - YouTube is an AMAZING place! They have videos for EVERYTHING!!

AND I've had more time to plant a garden... Of sorts... Haha! We have a tomato plant that is giving us a TON of tomatoes!! And Tim gave us 5 HOT pepper plants that are thriving! We also planted pumpkins... Watermelons... Cucumbers... Sunflowers and cilantro... Only the pumpkins and watermelon are growing;) at least so far!! Today we planted huge trees!! Yay for shade!!!

I haven't picked up my "real" camera a whole lot either... My iPhone is my camera of choice! It is instant and fast!

I don't get on my "real" computer everyday anymore... So I don't get as side tracked!!

I do want and NEED to blog more tho... :) it is another form of journaling for me... I'm hoping to share my art journal in my other blog too- Inspired...365

I am still trying to catch up... hahaha!! I have MANY pix to go thru and post... PLUS getting my house IN order... and exercising... AND meditating! I have been meditating... and WOW it has HELPED so much! The main part of the verse this week... Philippians 2:14 - Do EVERYTHING without grumbling or arguing! HAHA!!

I was super BLESSED on Sunday while I was taking pix for Father's Day at Church... this wonderful woman GAVE me her BEAUTIFUL locket... I can't wait to put the grand kids pix IN it!!

I haven't been ON my computer for a few days... =) I am finding that once I am ON the computer... time FLIES and I get NOTHING else done! SO... I am going to put it in a place that I have to go TO it!

I am feeling a little productive =) I did journal today... but not the last 2 days =( I did go to the gym yesterday and worked out for one WHOLE hour!! That is a BIG deal to me!! HAHA!!

I went TO the gym today... and RAN for 10 minutes!! HAHA! I never run... so this was AMAZING for me to do! I feel like I accomplished something TODAY! It was fun going in too... I have NOT been to the actual gym in at least 5 years! AND Chris Gomez was there to check me in... =) I just LOVE our Crossroads family!

AND today I am learning to blog using the iPad =) I got a new keyboard and I think I am liking this! I just need to learn HOW to do my pic of the day on here now!!

I can't upload pix... I am just now seeing that =( I think I need to find an app that will do this for me!

Begins the change! I am starting on the Dukan Diet... which I am really excited about - I LOVE protein!! =) I am still doing the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred - but 5 days a week. I PLAN to start back to the gym too - hopefully 3 days a week BUT I will go at least ONCE a week! I do want to do Boot Camp too... I think I will start that once we get it at the church =) I don't want to burn out!

AND I cleaned OFF my kitchen counter... I wish I had gotten a pic of it before - but I now have the printer on it =) I LOVE IT!! AND we have it working! I am so excited to start printing out pix again!! SO one area that was chaos is now usable =)

That I think I am NEVER going to catch up! I went to a Leading and Loving It Pastor's Wives RETREAT... a few weeks ago... and I LOVED IT! I was inspired AND challenged in many ways! Well.. every time I sit down to get "organized" in my life... I get so distracted with other things!

One of the things I really want to do... is BLOG here more... I have the idea then - when I finally have the TIME to be at the computer... it is NOT in my head anymore!! HAHA!!

Another thing I WANT to do is get in shape! SO this summer I am going to focus MORE on getting in shape - eating RIGHT and EXERCISING more intensely!!

AND ...I think the BIGGEST thing I NEED to do is to MEDITATE daily... and JOURNAL! I just have been slacking off in this... and I am feeling it! SO... I want to have the Word DEEPLY rooted IN my heart and this is the ONLY way I know how to get it there!!

OH! Another BIG one for me... I am NOT sure I can do this one - but, I NEED to get more organized... I have a craft room that I have NOT even used yet because it is so DISORGANIZED-I don't even KNOW where to begin! I want to PLAY... and I think that may be discouraging me a little bit!

THIS is my written list of things I want to accomplish... =) I just read that I NEED to write it down if I ever want to do them!! =) So I am telling the world!

PLEASE PRAY for me... Tuesday I had a melt down - and the GOOD thing is... I KNEW that is NOT where I wanted to be - so I am DETERMINED to GO WITH GOD in all of this!! This will be a GREAT summer of change for me!

I got to have lunch with my youngest sister today... Maureen. I just LOVE her! We began talking about growing up with our parents - (she is 11 years younger than me) and what different perspectives we had on it! It was a learning time for me... knowing she didn't experience what I did and I didn't experience what she did. I think hers was a bit more difficult than mine =( It bonded us all the more! I left there so appreciative of where GOD has me today and just a reminder to ME that GOD has always been there for me!

HAHA! As I am writing this tho... I don't know when I have EVER been this TIRED!

Today was the FIRST day of watching 5 kids at the same time... =) WHEW! Malakai - 6 weeks old we really easy... haha... he slept most of the day! Ellani - 11 months - was into everything and didn't like when I held Malakai - so SHE was on my hip most of the day! Liam - 2 years old - LOVED having the other kids here! HE played harder than he has in a LONG time - he was WORN out by bed time! Maia - 3 years old - She LOVED getting to help me all day long! PLUS she wanted to get her nails done, which we did during the babies nap time! AND then Noah - 4 years old - he came ready to play! He went to the back room and pulled out ALL the toys - one was a 9 foot long snake (toy) that he carried with him most of the day!

I don't remember too much of the day - other than feeding, changing diapers... OH! I forgot to say - one of my dear friends Darlene came to visit today and I put her to work! She changed the FIRST two of many poopy diapers! THANKS DAR!! I do think all we did was eat, change and sleep!! HAHA!

THANKS to Chuck too... he helped feed Ellani lunch while Malakai ate too =)

My goal today was to get ONE good pic of each child today! I think I did!

It's been 2 weeks since we had to put Galahad to sleep... I didn't realize how often I thought of him. Today I heard a dog bark... I had heard this dog bark before and I always thought it was Galahad- and would sometimes hush him... Well it wasn't HIM!!! Today I am just missing him a little more!

I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed because I am so FAR behind in so many projects... but TODAY I was privileged to attend a funeral of a friend... that I KNEW could do anything she put her mind to... and it encouraged me to just keep going! Not worry about it... God has it all under control! AND I CAN DO IT! =) Thanks JOY for your love for life and Jesus! It made a difference!!

WOW! I haven't posted on here at ALL for 2011! I am way behind!!

I have learned MUCH in the past few months too!

1. I am so easily distracted! I KNOW I would rather play than do anything else...

2. I do NOT like to study! HAHA! I guess deep down I don't like school work =)

3. I need LOTS of prep time when I am going to speak... that is when I get so distracted from studying - I find myself doing HOUSEWORK instead of studying! It HAS to be bad if I choose to do house work ;)

All of these have come into my life the last 3 months! I have had the opportunity to speak 5 times at the Church... and yesterday was the LAST one - well at least for a while =) AND I feel like my life can get back to NORMAL... playing is HIGH on the agenda!

I LOVED 2010... it was a year of change for me...

I semi-retired from the photography business...
I started EXERCISING! AND watching what I eat =)...
We had another little grand daughter born...
We MOVED to Corona...

I was feeling a bit overwhelmed since October this year - but GOD got me thru it!

2011

I am going to be changing a few things... to help me to NOT feel overwhelmed! I have been PRAYING thru all of these... and it will take some real discipline for me!! BUT I KNOW I CAN DO IT!!

FULLY RETIRED from shooting pix... Really!!! I am!! except for FUN projects... It is an addiction after all =)

My pic of the day... will be what ever I want it to be - an art piece or just a verse... depending on what I have time for!
My Life blog... I plan to write more on here... I think I NEED this as therapy =) HAHA!!

I will be moving BOTH of these sites to ONE so that I can more easily manage them... I will post the link when they are done!

Now... for a few goals I have...

To lose 40 more pounds - meaning that I will continue to do the 30 Day Shred til my 365 days are up - and add in a few extra days of exercise... once my 365 days are up - I am going to cut back and NOT do Sundays and Wednesdays! Those are my BUSIEST days of the week!

Go rock climbing at least once a week =)

Read at least an hour a day

Be on Facebook once a day! This one will be really difficult =) BUT if I don't do this... I won't READ! HAHA!!

LIMIT my time ON the computer everyday... It is another ADDICTION!! =)

Learn to sew - I want to make baby blankets and aprons

Scrapbook at least once a month - starting from my current pix and working backwards!

Scan in OLD slides of me and my sisters when we were KIDS =) and make a scrapbook of it!

Cook at least once a week - I know that is a wimpy goal... but I am NOT doing it even once a month NOW... so once a week for ME... is a GREAT start!! I just NEED to plan ahead of time - which is my weakness!!

To SLOW down... and just enjoy my life with the grand kids!

WOW this month has FLOWN BY! AND I have felt like I couldn't keep up... I even FORGOT a few things that I was supposed to do =(

For those of you that know me... organization is NOT one of the gifts GOD has given me! AND I am trying NOW to get my house all set up and organized from the START! Well there are still a TON of boxes still in the garage because I have had NO time to go thru them... I HOPE to actually start that project SOON! Chuck wants to do 3 boxes a day... I can handle that and not get overwhelmed. =)

I am LOVING today... no real schedule and HOME tonight! WOOHOO! It has been a LONG time since I have had a day "off" =)

I know it is still early... but I am thinking thru some of the things that I want to do next year - one for sure is my Inspired - 365 - pic of the day =) Just with different rules for next year!

I really want to catch up on my scrap booking too... I HOPE monthly =)

I want to do more artistic things on the computer too... I consider that to be PLAYING =)

WOW! I have really enjoyed blogging again... it is NICE to be home once in a while!

I think that life is a process of learning NEW things... which can make it exciting AND a bit frightening!

I am really EXCITED to be IN our new house!! So many things that I have never had before... like granite countertops! WOW! I LOVE them! WOOD FLOORS... AMAZING! AND a stainless steel sink... BEAUTIFUL!

The things I am learning with them ALL...

It is really HARD to see crumbs on the countertop!! HAHA! I thought I cleaned it up... and the next morning as I was looking at them - I saw thru the reflection - TONS that I missed!! HAHA!!

AND with the BEAUTIFUL DARK wood floors... I can SEE EVERY SINGLE STEP that I take when I come in from outside.... hmmmmmm.... do my shoes REALLY carry that much dirt??? WOW! I can see DUST - WOW!! This is going to take some getting used to!!

Now... with the stainless steel sink... Chuck cannot stand the water marks it leaves... SO after EVERY TIME I use the water IN the sink I MUST DRY IT OUT! HAHAHAHA!! OH MY! This one does NOT suit my lifestyle! So NOW I am thinking all the time... do I REALLY NEED to use the sink!! I MUST get smarter in my use of the sink!

ALL of this is a NEW learning experience for me... I LOVE IT.... and I am a BIT afraid I will NOT keep up this NEW lifestyle!

I have wanted to blog this for a few days now... but LIFE got in the way =) Last week I got to spend a couple of days with some AWESOME Pastor's wives! I got to catch up with a few that I hadn't seen in a few years - AND got to meet a few new ones. The trip took me to Universal City and to Disney Animation Studios with ALL of them!

They treated ALL of us to an all day visit to the studios - with a PREVIEW of the new movie - "Tangled" - and a tour of the Disney Animation Studio and ABC - with a glimpse of the movie - "The Help" coming out next year!

I have to say that "Tangled" is one of my FAVORITE Disney movies right now!! I LOVED IT! AND they are giving all of our friends and family a chance to see it for FREE!! IF YOU CAN GO... GO!! It really is worth seeing!!

WOW! This is what I am feeling is LACKING in my life right now! Only because we have kind of been on hold for a while... with moving - or I should say NON moving! HAHA!! SO I have been on edge READY to GO at any moment! I am TIRED! HAHA!! It is really hard to be READY all the time! SO my creativity is gone... =(

Well... I am speaking at our Radiant Bible Study THIS THURSDAY night! It is our women's Study AND I am really nervous... and I am not really sure WHY I said YES... other than I do KNOW that GOD wants to use me in some way!

That brings me to WHY I am writing the blog - I have wanted to blog a few times now but have had NO idea what to say! HAHA!! RIght now I am working on my Pic of the day - which I am still working on - but GOD is working on me! I came across this verse and it SLAPPED me across my FACE!! WOW! It is in the Message version...

I really am LOVING it! I NEVER thought I would even like it... but it is very challenging and HARD and a GREAT workout! AND I am NOT a fan of exercise so this is just the PERFECT thing for me!! I really can see my progress... the first wall I went up was SOOOOOO HARD! Then this last week... I went up the same wall and when I came down I was SHOCKED at my response... "WOW, that was really EASY" =) HAHA!!

WOW! I am really doing things that I NEVER thought I would! One of them is exercising EVERYDAY! HAHA!! I always knew that I needed to exercise... but I really do NOT like it! Well I am doing the 30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels - well actually a DVD =) of her.

Yesterday I learned that it was Crossroads Church day at a local Rock Climbing place... Hangar 18 and thought that sounded really FUN! So I asked Chuck if he could go... and he could - just a little late - so we got there about an hour before it closed! A LOT of Crossroaders were still there!!

Dave Barnes took GOOD care of me - getting me shoes and Lindsay Rafferty helped me get the harness on... and then Dave was the guy that held the other end of the rope... I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT That is called OR how it is spelled!! HAHA!! Then Nick Radford was sweet enough to take my camera and get shots of ME!! WOOHOO!!! I was so excited!!

Now today... I am so SORE!!! I think that the 30 day shred lacks rock climbing fitness =) SO now I need to work out are my triceps and under arms - NO clue what those muscles are BUT they NEED a work out!!! I can hardly life up my ARMS today!!

Here is a shot of ME actually ON the wall... OH we signed up to be monthly members too!! SO we will be going A LOT! I am so excited... and I am quite surprised that I LOVED it!!

WOW! The days go by too fast! I do mean to keep up here...

We are ALL PACKED and ready to GO... just waiting on the word from the escrow company on what the new date will be! They say LATE next week =)

I am so exited to go visit our new house... I want to go EVERYDAY! The walls are now painted and I think the cabinets are next... so I will be LOOKING forward to that!

I LOVE the colors that we chose for the floor and cabinets and walls... here is a sample of the COLORS - NOT the floor plan!! It is so FUN that all of these are our colors... including the granite AND stainless steel appliances!!

I am also starting to do two a days of the 30 day shred... only for a few weeks tho... I am hoping the pounds come off now as well as the inches =0

WOW! MUCH is HAPPENING!

Well... I can't even KEEP up with my life right now - HAHA!

Today... was the FIRST day that I watched 4 kids ALL day long! AND I was a little nervous... BUT... ALL WENT WELL! Ellani - 8 weeks old - slept MOST of the day! Liam - 15 months old - slept for his morning nap... that was it! Maia - 2 years old - was a real HELPING mama today! She made sure that Ellani was taken care of ALL DAY LONG! (it was really CUTE!) and Noah -3 years old - was the entertainment for Liam! Which is why I think Liam didn't want to SLEEP!

The only real issues that made me PONDER... WHAT DO I DO? was when Noah was on the downstairs potty and Maia HAD to go too... at the same time! I ran Maia UP THE STAIRS FAST!! HAHA! It is a GOOD thing I am shredding! Then at nap time... EVERYONE was awake at the SAME time... so all 4 of us went UP THE STAIRS... I was holding Ellani... and the rest climbed UP all by them selves =) the PONDER time came when I was going to come back down... Liam and Ellani were NOT ready to sleep yet... and I couldn't carry 2 down at the same time! Ellani was the SAFE one to leave alone up stairs... I brought Liam down and told him to stay OFF the stairs - and HE DID! I was soooooo excited!!!

It was a GREAT day!

NOW I am also getting ready to MOVE... and NEED to PACK up my WHOLE house! HAHA! SO I am a bit distracted from the OTHER things in my life =) I really am excited!!

WOW! I am just catching UP on my emails and FB messages from yesterday!

It was my BIRTHDAY yesterday... and I had the BEST ONE YET!

I woke up to SEE I had 275 messages - HAHAHA!! AND that was just the beginning! We went to Disneyland with Tim and Jill, and of course Liam and Ellani! AND Ricky and Taleah WITH Noah and Maia! AND Ashton along with Jesse and Jen and Ava! It was so FUN! 3 strollers!!

My phone kept dinging too... ALL DAY LONG! TONS of wonderful messages =)

First thing we did was EAT... turkey legs =) YUM! Here is Jesse LOVING it =)

The kids rode the merry go round while Chuck was in line getting the FOOD...

Then we went to see Cassie as Princess Jasmine... and we got front row seats and got to Get our pix with the cast!

And my phone STILL kept dinging ALL DAY!

THEN... I got to ride the tea cups with the kids that were OLD enough to ride...

... the phone kept dinging... =)

Then the kids went home... and we went to Club 33 for the BEST BIRTHDAY DINNER EVER!

I primarily used my iPhone as the camera for the day - BUT at this point my battery was at 13%! SO I had to STOP using my phone! HAHA!! I think all the messages wore out my battery!!!

THANK YOU ALL for making this one of the BEST birthday memories I will ever have!

YAY! I am so excited at the possibility of being IN Corona! No more 91 freeway to drive!

I must say tho... keeping the house spotless is not as easy as I would like it to be... so NO crafts until we move =) It is just too much to take out and put away! HAHA!! Even my computer gets put away now... Chuck LOVES it!!

I am slowly boxing things up as the days go by...

We have had lookers this time too =) I am PRAYING for offers! My HOPES are sky high =)

It has been a while since I posted here... I didn't even REALIZE that - I guess I have been ON THE GO!! =)

PLEASE be PRAYING our house sells... My plan - which I hope is GOD's plan too... It is to put it ON The market next MONDAY!! =) I have been working HARD to get the house to LOOK like they can just MOVE RIGHT IN!!! I am getting Chuck's help on Saturday for the BIG stuff... =) WOOHOO!!

TODAY - I was at the pool most of the afternoon with Jill, Liam and Ellani... it was so FUN - I got really burnt on my back tho =) anyway... I am not anywhere NEAR home and all of a sudden my phone starts lighting up with FaceBook notifications and people start calling me... then texting me... someone had tagged me in a very inappropriate photo and I guess when that happens TONS of people SEE it!! WOW! I only had my phone with me and I had NO CLUE HOW to fix it from it!! HAHA!! SO I had my friend Ashley go in and FIX me up... WHEW!

Once I knew it was ok... I sat back and cried... NOT because it happened to me! STUFF HAPPENS... BUT the reason I was so EMOTIONAL is how LOVED I felt! People thought the BEST of me and really CARED that it would be taken care of... WOW! I am so BLESSED!

THANK YOU EVERYONE for caring... it really does MATTER! THANK YOU Ashley Horne for being the kind of friend that will GO and FIX what I cannot... AND for taking care of me =) I just LOVE YOU!!

WOOHOO! I have NOT shopped since we started the Dave Ramsey way of living... tonight I did! My clothes are getting too big... which is a GREAT problem to have! I have been working out... watching what I eat and as a wonderful result... HUGE clothes!

Well... Old Navy has EVERYTHING in the store at 30% OFF right now! (it ends tomorrow) I was so THRILLED!! I can go on our trips with NEW clothes that actually FIT! AND let me just say... I got a pair of jeans that fit perfectly... they were $5 to start... then I got to take off another 30% - WOOHOO!! I shopped in the clearance aisle! My shirts were $7 =) I am a BIG spender now that I MUST pay cash!! =) I did splurge on a pair of khakis that are the next size down - as a goal to fit into them... they started at $3 =) and I can actually button them up... they are tight... but SOON I will be IN my $3 pants!!

Yesterday had me really thinking... I went to a memorial service of a 2 year old. The whole service was just AMAZING! It was really heartbreaking because it WAS a 2 year old... but it was also so INSPIRING because it put life into perspective!

KNOWING GOD!

HE is the only thing that truly matters in ALL of life... bad things happen... GOD knows... and HE cares... AND HE COMFORTS!

I just want to LOVE like HE loved! I want to BE Jesus to others... especially my Grandkids!

What a FUN day yesterday was... Jill was having contractions all day... they went IN around 6 and she was admitted around 7 and Ellani was born at 9:29! QUICK! AND Jill looked AMAZING after she was born!!! =) I got to hold her... and I FELL IN LOVE!! She is just so CUTE!!!

WOW! We had our FIRST meeting to begin the work of eliminating homelessness in Corona and Norco... the start of the Corona Norco Rescue Mission =) WOW! ALL of the people that spoke were amazing and so INSPIRING! Even the City of Corona was so supportive...

250+ people signed up to be a part of this AMAZING work tonight!! I really am excited to SEE GOD WORK in all of this!!

OH MAN!! We have never lived in ONE place for more than 5 years... we have lived here for almost 10! SO - that means LOTS and LOTS more JUNK! HAHA!! I started clearing OUT a lot of it yesterday - I am OLD - because TODAY... I am so sore! I feel like I ran a marathon!! HAHA! BUT I do feel we are on our way... I am so excited! We HOPE to be painting by the end of the month... and on the market in July! WOOHOO! Then... CORONA HERE WE COME!!

We are really wanting to MOVE to Corona THIS year... but that means I MUST make our house sellable =) NO piles or stuff everywhere! AND NO PICTURES that are personal on my walls... which is ALL I do have =) THEN paint them white...

I think I am a bit overwhelmed with this HUGE task. I NEED to just start... =) I have STUFF accumulated from the last 9 years in ONE house - we have NEVER lived in one place that long - HAHA!! SO... where do I begin? HAHA!! I think I can BOX up a LOT of it... and put it in the garage... BUT I need to get into the mind set - just THROW it - OR - GIVE it away!!

PLEASE PRAY for me - US - as we really WANT to be near the church!! We want to have it ready to go onto the market by July... so while we are in Kenya... it will stay CLEAN!! HAHA!!

I am trying to keep up with the Twitter thing... I just don't have enough HOURS in a day to read them ALL! Maybe I just follow too many?? I follow Christian leaders, Photography peeps, and Crossroads friends... =) I LOVE THEM ALL!! They just TWEET a lot! HAHA!!

The way my tweets go up is I LOOPT from my iPhone and my status goes to my Twitter and my Facebook... so MANY days I forget to look at my Tweets... SORRY! If you respond on the Tweets... I don't see them - SORRY!

I am thinking that I may CUT back my Twitter list so that I can actually care... =)

WOW! There have been so MANY things I want to BLOG about! JUST not enough hours in a day this month! I did learn so MUCH this month... =)

First... next year during the week after Mother's Day... I will NOT do ANY photoshoots! It was a stressful week JUST doing the photos for the Church! We did OVER 2000 pix this year!! PLUS I did quite a FEW photoshoots that week... and editing... =)

NEXT... I was BLESSED to attend a photoshoot/workshop with Sid - and I remember when he got his first SLR and shot a wedding with us... and NOW HE IS WAY beyond me and my knowledge!! I was so BLESSED to go to the fundraiser for him! AND it was a really FUN shoot! I have NOT had the time to play or edit MOST of the pix yet because it was ONE of the events right AFTER Mother's Day =)

Another thing I am learning is to keep moving... my Sketcher rocker shoes WORK! I LOVE the energy I have with them and I am just feeling better and better!!

ALSO... I am LOVING my Inspired...365 so much - that I have really FUN ideas for next years =) AND I am going to make a book of it so I will always have it =)

I have been so BLESSED all week... we have an AMAZING Ministry at Crossroads call Basic Training - and these WONDERFUL young men and women meet together weekly to SERVE at the church. Last weekend - Mother's Day - we had a group of them helping out the photographers all MORNING! Then tonight - a group came down to help me stuff ALL of those photos into envelopes for Sunday morning! They did it in an hour and a half! I have NEVER been done with Mother's Day before Saturday!! WOOHOO!! THANK YOU SO MUCH to ALL of YOU!!!

Remembering back...

Friday night we had a reunion of our FIRST full time youth group - 1979 =) WOW! It was GREAT to see EVERY ONE of them! As Chuck and I were reminiscing... lots of MEMORIES came flooding thru... I think I was an emotional WRECK all week!

Back then - before we had KIDS and seat belt LAWS... after church on Sunday nights AND Wednesday nights we would pile about 8 or 9 kids into our car and begin our trek down Brookhurst dropping them off at their homes... We really got to KNOW each one of them spending so MUCH time together. THAT was a highlight of my days... Melinda remembered that we would ask "who wants to be dropped of LAST" ? HAHA!! I had forgot that... that determined which route we would take!

I remember having so many MEALS at our little apartment off of Yockey Street in Garden Grove... then at our house that we rented in Anaheim.

I remember sharing the LORD with Bobbie Bohler - Valente and her accepting and ME getting to baptize her... MY FIRST ONE EVER!! She really has a SPECIAL place in my heart =)

This was our FIRST group that we dedicated to FULL time ministry... and WOW! I was 20 years old... just a KID myself. I was not raised in a "church" family =) so I had NO CLUE what we were doing!! HAHA! SO we just jumped in and began to LOVE the kids with ALL that we had - I think that we learned as much from them as they did from us!

Camps... were LIFE CHANGING for all of us! I had NEVER been to camp as a kid - ONLY as a leader =) I fell IN LOVE with youth ministry because of these kids... I didn't want to do anything else!!

So much MORE to say... so I will post as I think of them!!

Yesterday Chuck was speaking for a men's retreat... up at Angeles Crest... I wanted to go =) HAHA!! He did go up Friday night and stayed... then came back home to get me for the evening session. He told me to BRING the cameras! The drive up was AMAZING!

We had to go an alternate route because the front road up to the camp was closed because of the fires last year! I was so EXCITED to get to go... I had a wedding that was over sooner than expected and so I got to spend extra TIME on our drive up - to pull over to take pix!!

I don't think that the pictures can even tell the whole story of the DEVASTATION... it was a WOW drive! I have driven up that mountain for YEARS! It did not look the same... I knew it wouldn't... BUT I didn't expect to see the ground so SMOOTH! AND you can see thru the trees... the trees that were left anyway...
